If this is your situation

You were injured in a car or motorcycle accident or as a pedestrian.

You had an accident at work or while commuting.

The insurer is offering compensation that seems too low.

You lost a loved one in an accident and want to assert your rights.

You dispute the disability rate set by the doctor.

How a matter unfolds

  1. 1

    Building the file

We gather the police report, medical certificates and evidence of income and expenses to assess the loss.

  2. 2

    Medical assessment

We follow the medical assessment that sets, among other things, the disability rate, and challenge its findings when they do not reflect your condition.

  3. 3

    Negotiation

We discuss with the insurer on the basis of the legal compensation rules and your situation to obtain a fair offer.

  4. 4

    Legal action

If no agreement is reached, we claim compensation before the court, including within criminal proceedings, and follow the payment.

Frequently asked questions

How is compensation calculated after a road traffic accident?

For accidents caused by land motor vehicles, compensation for personal injury is calculated under the dahir of 2 October 1984, which sets a scale taking into account in particular the victim's age, income and disability rate. Medical costs and certain other losses are covered under the rules of that text. The victim's share of responsibility for the accident may reduce the amount.

What should you do after a workplace accident?

The accident must be reported to the employer without delay, and the employer must declare it within the time limits set by Law No. 18-12. The victim is entitled to cover of medical care and a daily allowance during temporary incapacity, and then to compensation in the event of permanent incapacity. Keep all medical certificates and documents you are given.

Is a commuting accident a workplace accident?

Yes, an accident occurring on the journey between home and the workplace can be covered as a workplace accident under Law No. 18-12, provided the journey was not interrupted or diverted for personal reasons. Each situation must be checked against the circumstances.

What if the insurer offers compensation that is too low?

You are not obliged to accept the first offer. Before signing a settlement, have the calculation, the disability rate and any overlooked losses checked, as a signed settlement is difficult to challenge. If you disagree, the court can set the compensation, if necessary after a new medical assessment.
